Day 19: Dance Friends and The Nutcracker

Another day of work but this time an evening of play! When I was younger I used to take dance class where I met some other girls who also took classes. Through a mutual friend the four of us became friends and it became tradition for our mothers to get together for tea while they waited for us to go to our dance classes over the years. When we stopped taking dance we tried carrying on the tradition by getting together one night a week for our "tea". It's become harder and harder to do this since we're following our own paths but we decided to make it out for a groyp event gettinf the mothers and the daughters together for a little festive evening. What more appropriate place to do so than at the ballet?

My wonderful mother and I started the evening off with a glass of wine and waited for everyone to arrive. Although we were short one group member (the flu has awful timing and she was definitely missed), we still managed to find our fun and The Nutcracker was beautiful as ever!

It was so lovely to take off an evening with some lovely people!

Now my eyes start to close and that means it's time to say goodnight!

Goodnight!!
