Day Fourteen: Roommate Christmas!
Another day another dollar...! (Yikes I'm sounding like my parents) (I mean YAY! I'm sounding like my parents! Hi Mom! :) ). I had another long day at work but that was fine and then off to job number two. I got there early and the kid in the waiting room had Sun Chips so...well when you see the pictures you'll see that I indulged myself a little while I waited for my students. Teachers need sustenance too!
I came home and it was time for Christmas! My roommate is going away on holiday before actual Christmas so we had to celebrate our Christmas tonight! So I guess it was kind of like Christmas Eve if anything. I came home and she had cleaned our apartment which was so nice because I was trying to mentally prepare myself to do that and it was just so amazing for it to be done! Then we got dumplings and drank wine and watched a Christmas movie. It was called A Dogwalker's Christmas Tale. 10/10 would highly recommend....if you're like me and enjoy yelling at movies the entire time you're watching - when called for, of course.
After our movie it was time to do a little pampering and we did some face masks, put on some Christmas jams (music jams...I'm not trying to be hip and shorten pajamas), and I think that's when the wine started to get to our heads. Regardless it was so fun! Sometimes fate has a funny way of working things out! If I had gone through with my original plans this Friday, we wouldn't have had our roommate Christmas!
So today of course I'm feeling so thankful and joyful for my roommate. We are both a little wacky and I wouldn't have it any other way!
