Day Fifteen: Christmas Came Early

This morning was a bit of a struggle. I slept in longer than I intended but it ended up working out okay in the end. I was pretty exhausted while teaching today, but that being said, I felt like I made some good progress with most students. While I had an entire class get canceled - and that can be annoying because it's a huge chunk of time where I'm just sitting around doing nothing - I used the opportunity to create my to do list for the evening. So far I think I've checked most things off my list! That's a pretty good feeling. I'm a little later than I expected and I'm still waiting for laundry....am I ever not waiting for laundry? I think laundry sign ups should be a thing because there always seems to be someone using it when I need it the most!

I got a beautiful picture from one of my youngest students today - she can be challenging but she's always smiling and has such a wonderful energy. I also came home to a little something from my wonderful roommate! That was exciting to see little gifts under the tree that weren't there before! It kind of did feel like Christmas! A mini-Christmas! I did some wrapping and made sure to have time for a soak in the bath - a very important task on my To-Do List.

And now I plan to fall asleep on the couch in  my living room next to the Christmas Tree surrounded by Christmas lights and gifts I wrapped under the tree. Tomorrow guarantees to be an interesting day...and lots of festive fun coming up this week!

Sending love and joy!
