Day 11 - Tiny Little Moments

Today was a Saturday in retail so it was about as wild as you would expect. It was pretty non-stop all day but I found my little moments. Like my little corner of our backroom box dungeon with just enough space for me to squeeze in and take a minute to myself. I am thankful that I was able to take my breaks today because sometimes those don’t happen.

At the end of a long day I had a strong closing team with me and we hustled as best we can through a giant order day. But not before our friends and Mrs.Fields brought us pretzels. They have been so nice bringing us leftover pretzels and we really needed them.

I’m not going to lie I ended the night frustrated because I have to go in on my day off tomorrow but i’m grateful that my parents live close and let me crash there so I could at least get some sleep before tomorrow. Because I wasn’t prepare my phone was at 5% with no charger in sight but my Dad gave me an early Christmas gift for all the nights I crash in their spare room. A charger that I can keep here! That will definitely come in handy for all those times I unexp need to stay over.

Now i’m going to go to sleep and I have an exciting day planned tomorrow and hopefully lots of relaxing before that too.
