Favourite Products for De-Stressing

A friend of mine asked me to do a post centered around my favourite products for de-stressing. If you follow my personal account on Instagram you'll know that I'm a big bath bomb enthusiast and if you know me at all, you'll know I'm a huge Lush fan for a lot (okay most), of my cosmetics.  I've still got some routines in the works for self-care and relaxation to put on this blog, but for now here is a simple and to-the-point list of my favourite products to use when I need to chill out for a bit.

Lord of Misrule

This is my all-time favourite for coziness. It's spicy and earthy with a little hint of sweetness. The water looks gorgeous. It's limited edition so if you like the sound of it now is the time to try it out.

Milky Bath and Twilight

Twilight is basically the perfect lavender bath, but if you mix it with Milky Bath Bubble Bar you will put yourself in a dream-state. It's so creamy and softening and the best way to soothe yourself after a long day.

Pink Bath Bomb

I like Pink because while I like the effects of lavender, I'm not a huge fan of the smell. So Pink has a little more sweetness to it so it's not just lavender overload.

Volcano Foot Mask

If you are looking for something to relax your body as well as your mind, Volcano is a great choice for your feet. It's so tingly and cleansing and will feel great after a long day on your feet.

Eau Roma Water

I love this toner at night. On a day when I'm crying left and right, this toner water saves my face from rawness and soreness. I just spritz it whenever I'm in the bathroom and let the rose water  and lavender soothe my skin.

Sleepy Body Lotion

This is a really popular one because it's got all that lavender. I keep this at my bedside table and put it on before bed so that the lavender can relax me while I'm climbing into my cozy bed. It's the right amount of sweetness too!

Lavendar Balm

This last summer I got to visit Terre Bleu Lavender Farm and it was absolutely beautiful. I came home with this balm which I like to rub on my temples if I'm feeling especially anxious/stressed. Fun fact: it's also great at soothing bug bites.

Fall Candles

I have had this candle sitting at my parents house for a year at least and brought it over to my apartment once I decided I was ready to dive into Fall. And let me tell you...as soon as I light this, my whole apartment smells so cozy and warm and friendly. It's like a hug in a candle.

A Hot/Magic Bag

I use my hot bag literally every day. If you're sore, if you have cramps, if you're cold...it's the answer to almost everything. I am in love with it. The picture is just of one I found on Etsy, but they are really easy to make for yourself or maybe as a gift for someone!

I hope you have found that helpful! If you'd like to see some of my favourites highlighted on the blog's Instagram then do let me know! Also please feel free to share your favourites as well!
