Day 11 - Relaxing Bath and Movie Time

Today was a crazy day at work. It was non-stop and that’s pretty wild for a day of not actually being open. It definitely kept me busy and got me to 5pm in no time. I got home and it was nice to enjoy a meal with my family. When I was younger I went on my first trip to Winnipeg alone, and spent some time with my Aunt. While I was there she taught me how to sew, and some cooking recipes too. One of them was Taco Salad which I was very excited to make for my whole family when I got home. And to this day we still eat it, albeit they’ve taken some liberties with my original recipe…All that to say…tonight was taco salad night! And it was nice to remember all of that while eating a delicioius meal!

After that I actually had to take a quick trip home to pick up some forgotten necessities. Those of you who’ve been reading the last few posts know what’s up….we can all rest easy. I grabbed a few other forgotten items and celebrated with a nice relaxing bath. But let me tell you…this was luxury. My parents place right now has this amazing soaker tub and oo baby. What a nice treat to my tiny little one at the apartment. Note to self. Take lots of baths here.

Then my Dad and I finally watched Jingle Jangle which we’ve been holding off to watch together since it came out. Such a fun movie and the little girl in this movie is going to have a career on Broadway no doubt once it opens up again! Damn. She’s so good! It makes the whole movie worth watching!

And now I am exhausted! Another busy day tomorrow I suspect but I will try to have my camera at the ready!
