Day 6 - Christmas Errands and Decorating the Tree

Just some secret supplies and other things that I found for my tree!

My favourite new decoration. I don’t even like to eat mushrooms but they are so cute when they are gold and sparkly. I also read a really great book about these wild mushrooms that had its own consciousness and so I’m weirdly into them for some reason…?

Gaming by the tree! I am building a Christmas Treehouse cabin because that’s where I wish I was instead of working in a mall.

Navi and I were feeling festive before bed so here is me enjoying the festive bedding…?

So after I got my tree up and looked at it’s perfection…I also realized pretty quickly that I probably didn’t have enough ornaments for it! I also had a few bits and pieces I needed to pick up for someone’s gift so after I finished work I ran around a bit. I was in Michael’s when I realized I hadn’t taken any photos yet! Oops! Honestly, I was just at work all day so not much to see prior to that anyway. Dare I say…I actually had a good day at work today? It felt like I was on top of things and by the time I left I was actually almost done making my schedule. It usually takes me a few hours and a couple days to try to get that done.

So I ran around a bit, found some great discounted decorations (already!) and what I needed to someone’s gift AND I even found Portuguese bread! It’s so good. I could literally eat a whole bag of it. It’s sweet and soft and how many of you are craving fresh baked bread right now? Sorry!

It was a nice night for me and Navi. We just hung out, watched Let it Snow, drank some wine (well I drank the wine) and decorated the tree. I ended the evening playing some Sims by the Christmas Tree. It was nice to just unwind a bit.

I don’t have much to say besides that honestly. Short and sweet tonight because that took up most of the evening but I was able to just enjoy my own company and the little home I’ve made for myself here. Oh! Also! I put up my new art above my desk and I love it!
