Day Fourteen - The Home Stretch!
Today was a little lacking in photos because I spent most of my time at my desk working away on my project. I was just a little school gremlin in my PJs pretty much all day. When I finally wrapped up I decided I needed to get some fresh air and so I walked to a bookstore to see if I could find a nice easy-read now that I’m almost done reading for school for a while. I was surprised by the lack of Christmas books! I keep getting a memory on my page of one year where I was reading a Christmas book but I had no luck at all on my search today! I will keep trying!
Unfortunately my first student never showed up which meant I could have stayed home a whole hour longer but that’s life - I decided to use my break to go get a tea a snack since I forgot to eat dinner. So I spent my first hour with a snack, a hot drink and catching up on some reading for school.
After work I hopped right on a call with my group again, hammering out some final details. And after that I had some work to do for my admin job. After that I was ready to call it so I climbed into bed, caught up on my Dan and Phil and drifted off. Thanks sleeping pills, you’re the best!
I promise for interesting days are coming, but I still think there is value in finding the tiniest little moments of joy especially when things feel like they’re moving a mile a minute! Keep looking for those moments!
